Today was Dior Day in Macy's Herald Square.
Christian Dior was born in Granville, France in 1905 from there his family moved to Paris in 1919. Speeding it up a little on his life history, in the fall of 1946 textile magnate Marcel Boussac backed Dior in the opening of his own salon the House Of Christian Dior.
Macy's celebrate Dior Day in style by giving a publication called "Classic Fashions of Christian Dior" by: Tom Tierney for Dover Publications. In this publication are some of Dior's Classic fashions.
As well free makeovers with some of the newest line: The Dior Show 360(spin brush) Mascara, Line Designer Palletts eye shadow in shades like amber design to name a few and Serum De' Rouge lip treatment & lipstick in one which softens lips and re-plumps.
